Today, we had a guest speaker about smoking. I could not believe what she said of all these things smoking can do to you! I started crying but I tried to hold it back and I did. I wanted to breakdown so hard when I got home but I didn’t want my mom see me suffer because she just came back from the hospital because she has breast cancer. She was pretty tired and light headed. I confronted my dad today and showed him the truth about cigarettes. Every cigarette you smoke, it takes 7 minutes of your life. Every cigarette contains over 4,000 chemicals. I don’t want to watch my father die and me not doing anything. I asked him to tell me the truth about how many cigarettes he smokes a day and he said 10. I can’t believe. I can’t even see the computer screen right now because my vision is blurry from my tears. My mom already has cancer,my mom’s mom(my grandma) has colon cancer and it spread-ed around and we have no idea how long she is going to live. I don’t want to see my dad get sick. He’s 53. He told me it’s hard to stop and I know it is. My mom said he tried the nicotine gum, and even has prescriptions from doctors to stop smoking. He won’t stop and do anything. Please give me some ideas/help to make him STOP. Please. Please. Please. I don’t want to watch my loved ones die. I ask myself everyday why God didn’t cure my mom for 5 years and that she still has it. That I come home everyday to a depressed and crying mom. But I noticed, that he’s keeping her alive and blessed. Any programs? Something?
My father,truthfully, isn’t the kind of guy that wants to talk to someone on the phone about smoking problems, go to an appointment to stop smoking, and all of that.

get patches or nicotine gum or something, or just let him see yu do some of that cryin over him smoking
