colonoscopy polyps biopsy

My husband had a colonoscopy today and did a biopsy, 6 polyps removed have nothing to worry about?
About? He has to return tohis Doctor December 18.
In practical work, 2/3rds of all polyps to be removed are the type of call are adenomatous. These are the types of Polyps can turn cancerous, usually as they grow more than 6 mm. The other types are called hyperplastic. Unless you have hyperplastic polyps large, or many, the colon cancer risk is small. Adenomatous polyps can grow back, so once you find them, you are asked at least once every 5 years to have another check.
