colon adenomas

Colon polyps, tubular adenoma with high grade dysplasia?

I just did a colonoscopy and a very small polyp was found and removed. The result was a precancerous condition called polyp Tubular adenoma with high grade dysplasia. My doctor told me that he believed the polyp was removed completely from the best possible way during colonoscopy. However, we strongly recommend another colonoscopy done in 1 year. If the polyp does not happen again, and if not developed new polyps, mean that's a good sign and not have another colonoscopy in 3 years. Anybody have any experience with this type of situation? Pls. share their experiences, comments and advice, so you have an idea of how to go about this on my own. Thank you.

sorry you're in this situation. we have a strong history cancer family, so I periodically have colonoscopies. a year are found polyps and removed them and said I had to go back in a year. Also recommends a healthy diet, for example, more fruit and vegetables, and fiber. I had a colonoscopy again a year later they said it was fine then. Since then, I returned about three years. I never needed any other treatment so please Dont Panic, remember these are pre-cancerous cells, means that have been captured. if you have an urgent problem that would have restored the following week. happened to my mom. (BTW she's fine now, ten years later). I do not know if your woman, but for cervical cancer in its relatively common for pre-cancerous cells found. remove, test more often for a period of time, then back to routine. so its a similar scenario for colonoscopies, have caught things in good time and are taking precautionary measures. stay positive my friend, you are in good hands.
